PLANNED ROAD WORKS FOR STAPLOE ROAD. WYBOSTON (between Lower Honeydon Lane and Mill Road / The Lane.).
We are writing to you to let you know that roadworks are due to start soon on the above roads as part of Bedford Borough Council’s highway works programme.
The works will consist of surface dressing the carriageway and reinstating the road markings. Staploe Road, Wyboston will be closed between Lower Honeydon Lane and Mill Road / The Lane for 9 days between 11/07/26 and 21/07/2026. There will also be various shifts where the road will be swept, but the road will remain open whilst this is undertaken.
The diversion route is via the Bushmead Road, Little Staughton Road and Mill Road. There will be additional signage at all entrances to Honeydon stating NO HGV FOLLOW DIVERSION. Resident access only.
