Staploe Parish Council Meetings
are normally held in Wyboston Village Hall at 7.45pm on the third Wednesday of every other month. Occasionally we meet in Colmworth Village Hall if Wyboston is unavailable or on a different date if Councillors are not available or if it suits an important consultation deadline to meet at a different time. Members of the public are welcome to attend and ask questions during the Public Open Forum at the start of the meeting. During the Covid pandemic the Parish Council met online (normally on Zoom) but this was only permitted as a temporary emergency measure.
The Parish Council also have a:
- Finance Committee which usually meets in October to prepare a draft budget for the November Parish Council meeting
- Village Hall Rebuild Working Group – this has not met since 2018 but may be needed in future once the rebuilding project starts.
