We are looking for a volunteer from Duloe to manage the mobile speed sign which is due to rotate between Staploe and Duloe. Staploe now have a permanent speed sign similar to the one in Duloe. We also have a new pole opposite Manor Farm in Duloe which was erected as a mount for the mobile speed sign which will be shared between Duloe (Manor Farm) and Staploe (Falls Farm / Old Farm Cottage). We need someone from Duloe to move the sign from Staploe to Duloe every three months, charge the spare battery, and download the data and send it to the Parish Council at the end of the three month period and advise our volunteer from Staploe (Tom Tagg) that it is ready for collection.
Can anyone help with this?
In case you are wondering why we can’t move it to a wider range of locations the signs have to be mounted in very specific locations – not on telegraph poles, not too close to the road, good line of sight etc. The new pole in Duloe was positioned with this in mind.
