Residents may be contacted about the transition from analogue to digital landlines which is due to take place by January 2027. There are a lot of companies trying to market various upgrades etc. to people and as Clerk I am being bombarded by companies offering information to residents. However, this is coming from companies marketing their own products and they may be promoting expensive new equipment which may not be required.
Therefore I would like to direct residents to the government’s own website where they explain the process and what people need to know and to do.
