The Parish Council receive Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Payments when new homes are built. At the moment any new homes are usually the result of barn conversions. We can use this money on infrastructure in the parish. In the past we have used it to upgrade the street lights to LEDs for example. This year we spent a considerable amount on the new fencing at Duloe Playing Field to protect it from unwelcome visitors and also to replace the rotten decking at the Community Cabins.
We send a report to Bedford Borough Council each year if we receive or spend any CIL money. Here is the report for 2025.
