There will be a picnic tea and a game of rounders on Duloe Playing Field at 4pm on Sunday 29th June. Bring your own picnic tea and something to sit on. Rounders is optional. All are welcome. It will be a good opportunity to meet many of our new residents.
Dogs are welcome on short leads. Please supervise them carefully as we will have some young children in attendance and as ever, please clear up after them using the dog bins provided.
If you would like to barbecue please tell the Clerk Lucy Crawford in advance on Contact – Staploe Parish Council. There will be children present. Therefore you will need to man the barbecue throughout the event until it is extinguished and cool. All barbecuing is to be done on the decking area away from main thoroughfares and away from the rounders area.
The weather is due to be warm at 27oC with a light breeze. There is limited shade on the playing field so please wear sunscreen, hats, and bring plenty to drink.
If you would like to play rounders please bring suitable footwear.
Lucy Crawford will be the trained first aider on site and will be wearing a high vis vest
